Life and Mountains

I've had this blog domain for so many years I'm surprised it hasn't been deleted, but I guess nothing disappears from the great wide internets these days.
Seemed to be as good time to make a use of it than any other.

I was told off to paint my nails

Life in mountains is pretty different to what I expected to be.
First of all, I didn't anticipate it to be so similar to the life I'd just hopped away from - or travelling ten years back to the three months I lived in the staff-accommodation.
The work, facilities and living quarters are one million times better than Gleneagles ever was, but an enclosed facility with little outside touch for a long winter - we should be happy that the winters have been so crappy that the pass is open daily.
In fact - everything is very, very green - barely any snow on slopes and we are up 1800+.
This is the first post and it only took two weeks to remember, hopefully the next will be a bit more consistent.
